Alan Silverwood Loaf Tin - 3LB


These commercial grade anodised loaf tins are easy to unmould and easy to clean. Use them for bread, cakes, pates, terrines or layered desserts.

• Heavy catering grade loaf tins.
• Also suitable for cakes and malt loaves etc.
• 3Lb Tin dimensions - 13.25" x 5" x 3" deep
• ADVICE - if using them for pates or terrines - always place them in a bain mairie whilst in the oven - for more even results. A roasting tin half filled with water is perfectly good enough for this.
• Silverwoods Alsil anodised loaf tins will never peel, blister or rust.
• Alsil bakeware has a smooth, easy release and easy clean surface.
• Alsil bakeware is highly heat conductive for efficient baking and shorter cooking times. We suggest that you check your dishes after 2/3rds normal cooking time.
• Alsil is thicker than many other loaf tins and will provide you with more even and consistent results.

• ADVICE - Like all loaf tins Alsil should be lightly greased before use. Groundnut (peanut) oil works best. Mono-unsaturated fats like olive oil become sticky at high temperatures and are not recommended for greasing bakeware. Butter and margarine may give erratic results, releasing well on some occasions sticking on ocassions.
• ADVICE - Please hand wash these pans with care. They are NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. They are , however, very easy to clean.
• ADVICE - Avoid using knives or other sharp objects in these pans.
