
Jacob Jensen Alarm Clock – Initial Set Up
The Jacob Jense Alarm Clock can be set up quite quickly by following three simple steps.
You will need to activate the battery, set the time to local time and set the alarm to your chosen time.
To activate the battery
- find the battery cover – on the back of the clock
- it is directly underneath the time set button
- push the battery cover away from the time set button
- remove the piece of plastic covering the battery contact
- replace the battery cover
To set the time to local time
- push the time set button with a pointed object
- a ball point pen will do
- hold in for more than 2 seconds
- the flashing display should read – TIME SET 0.00
- push the TIME^ button and hold until you reach the required time
- push the TIME ^ button again to confirm the setting
- setting up tip – for fast scrolling – hold the TIME^ button down whilst setting the time
- setting up tip – for final accuracy – tap and release the TIME^ button repeatedly, until the required time is reached
To set the alarm to the desired time
- push the alarm button
- hold in for more than 2 seconds
- the display should be flashing – ALARM SET
- push the TIME^ button and hold until you reach the required time
- push the ALARM button once to confirm the setting
- the alarm time will not show on the display
- to see it – press the alarm button – it will dispaly for around 10seconds
- setting up tip – for fast scrolling – hold the TIME^ down whilst setting the time
- setting up tip – for final accuracy – tap and release the TIME^ button repeatedly, until the required time is reached
Jacob Jensen Alarm Clock – Day to Day Use
To switch the alarm off immediately
-
press the AL/OFF button
- the alarm will be switched off.
To use the SNOOZE function
- when the alarm sounds
- press the LIGHT/SNOOZE button
- the light will be switched on
- and the alarm will be switched off for 8 minutes.
- when the alarm sounds again, you may turn it off immediately
- or set it to SNOOZE again.
To use the light
- press the LIGHT/SNOOZE button
- the clock’s backlight will be switched on for around 5 seconds.
- this only switches the alarm off – if it is already ringing.
Jacob Jensen Alarm Clock – Replacing the Battery
- remove the battery cover
- remove the old battery
- replace with a new AAA battery
- check the alignment carefully
- replace the battery cover
You will now need to reset the Alarm!!
